Stafford Borough Council are inviting communities to attend a webinar on Wednesday 21 July at 3pm on the topic of Connecting Communities through Walking.

Over the past year, many residents have been unable to leave the house during the coronavirus pandemic. Physical inactivity can increase social isolation, reduce independence and diminish physical and mental health. You will hear presentations from a variety of speakers who will take you on a journey starting from the home environment, progressing to longer walks in local areas. The webinar will be packed full of tips, signposting material, support that is on offer and project ideas to help you to encourage resident connections through walking.

Please register to attend the session and encourage other members of the Parish Council, including Councillors and Clerks to attend, as well as sharing this invitation with your local community groups and interested partners.

The webinar will be held via Zoom for 1 hour and there will be a chat function for questions.  For more information about the webinar, speakers and to register click here: Connecting Communities through Walking – Webinar Registration
